• French in 2014-15 (So.): Pushed up to 141 pounds where he put together a 13-12 record ... six of his 13 victories were by way of fall ... competed in seven tournaments, but did not place.
• 2013-14 (Fr.): Saw action in three tournaments where he produced a 3-6 record ... pinned (2:59) Grand Canyon’s Kevin Hunt for his first collegiate victory ... won three bouts at the Roadrunner Open, but fell short of placing.
• High School: A 2013 graduate of Forsyth High School in Forsyth, Mont., French was a four-year wrestling letterwinner who was a three-time state champion and four-time state placewinner ... he won titles as a senior (125), junior (130) and sophomore (135) and placed second as a freshman (105) ... member of the Forsyth wrestling teams that were crowned state champions in 2012 and ‘13 ... earned All-State (Mont.) honors all four years ... served as team captain his final three seasons and was named the team MVP his senior year.
• Personal: Son of Pat and Deb French ... majoring in Nuclear Engineering ... named to the Commandant’s List the fall of his freshman year.
