Navy's Highly Touted Rookie Class of Wrestlers Unveiled
Ninth-year Navy wrestling coach Bruce Burnett and his staff have assembled one of the top recruiting classes not only on the East Coast, but on a national level as well. Navy's Class of 2012, which features 13 young men who have captured a combined 20 state titles, is ranked 25th by D1CollegeWrestling.net and 30th by Intermat.

	6/16/08 Steele Named Second Alternate at U.S. Olympic Team Trials Heavyweight wrestler Scott Steele, a rising senior at the Naval Academy, placed third in the 120 kg weight class (freestyle) at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials Sunday evening at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. By virtue of his finish, he has qualified as the second alternate for the 2008 Olympics slated for Aug. 8-24 in Beijing, China.
