Conley Falls in First Match at the 2001 NCAA Wrestling Championship

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Navy wrestler Mark Conley (Jr./Exton, Pa.) lost his opening match with No. 1 seed Doug Schwab of Iowa, 23-6, in the 2001 NCAA Wrestling Championship in Iowa City, Iowa Thursday.

Next up for Conley will be Lehigh's Matt Goldstein. Conley earned an automatic bid when he defeated Goldstein in the 141-pound weight class at the EIWA Wrestling Championship March 4. The loss snaps his winning streak to 13 matches.
