Mark Conley Takes Fifth Place at the 2001 NCAA Wrestling Championship

IOWA CITY, Iowa- Navy wrestler Mark Conley (Jr./Exton, Pa.) took fifth place in the 141-pound wrestle-backs at the 2001 NCAA Wrestling Championship in Iowa City, Iowa Saturday.

Conley lost his match with No. 11 seed Grant Hoerr of Wisconsin, 10-4. He had a strong tournament, winning five straight matches in the wrestle-back bracket on Friday. Conley is the first All-America since Greg Gingeleskie in 1999.
