ANNAPOLIS, Md.--The Naval Academy had 57 varsity athletes in five sports earn Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honors for the fall. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the semester of their sport's competition.
"Congratulations to our determined student-athletes who continue to set the bar for extraordinary achievement both on and off the field of competition," said Gladchuk. "57 varsity athletes achieving better than a 3.2 in a curriculum as challenging as Navy's during their season of Division I competition is a highly commendable accomplishment. We are proud of them all."
The men's cross country team led the way with 16 student-athletes qualifying for the honor, while the men's soccer and women's cross country teams had 14 apiece. Women's soccer ended up with eight student-athletes on the honor roll, while the women's volleyball team had five.
