2016-17 Season Notes
Recorded 59 blocks on the season ... that tally ranks not only second for the most by a Navy freshman, but also 13th in school history for career blocks ... ranked sixth among freshmen nationally (tied for 65th overall) with her 1.74 blocks-per-game average, which also ranked second in the league among all players ... recorded multiple blocks in 19 games ... made the first start of her career at George Mason ... recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals ... that effort earned her the Patriot League Rookie-of-the-Week accolade on Dec. 27 ... led Navy with 11 rebounds ---- four on the offensive end ---- while adding eight points on 4-9 shooting from the field in Navy's league tournament semifinal round victory over Army ... played a season-high 38 minutes in Navy's WNIT first round overtime victory over George Washington ... posted eight points (4-8 shooting), five rebounds and four blocks ... earlier in the season tied the school record with seven blocks against Goucher ... in addition to her 10-point effort at George Mason, also tallied 11 points in back-to-back games against Hofstra and Iona and scored 10 points at Lafayette ... ended three more games with nine points and had eight points in three additional contests ... recorded five steals in the game against Iona, as well as in Navy's road game against Boston U. ... reached double digits in rebounding in three games ... snared 13 boards at Loyola, 12 at Colgate and 11 in the aforementioned tournament game against Army ... included among her 13 boards against the Greyhounds were eight on the offensive end ... shot at least 50% from the field in 12 games.
