Daughter of Barry and Barbara Nelson.

Her cousin, Steven Puskar, graduated from the Naval Academy in 1998.

Her father played college basketball at Duquesne and in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks (1971-72 season).

Nelson's 2005-06 Season Highlights

Scored a career-high nine points D30 against UMBC. Was 4-of-8 from the field and 1-of-1 from the line in the game while adding six rebounds.

Also grabbed a season-best six caroms, to go along with eight points, D19 against St. Bonaventure.

Scored eight points in back-to-back games N19 against Monmouth and N22 versus North Carolina A&T.

Also tallied three blocks in the game against North Carolina A&T.

Hauled in five rebounds J4 at Troy.

Totaled career highs in a Patriot League game with six points and four rebounds J7 against Bucknell.
