Her initial campaign was a memorable one for the program as Navy compiled a 24-10 record, placed second in the Patriot League with a mark of 14-4, reached the title game of the league tournament and garnered an automatic berth into the WNIT. There, the Mids made school history as their first-round victory over George Washington was the first national post-season tournament win in school history.
Micaletti arrived on The Yard after serving as an assistant coach at Slippery Rock for the past two seasons. The Rock, which competes on the NCAA Division II level, posted a combined record of 24-31 in her stint at the school. Prior to that, she was an assistant coach at fellow Division II program Indiana (Pa.) for the 2013-14 season –– 18-10 record –– and at Point Park University for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 campaigns. The Pioneers advanced to the NAIA Division II Tournament in both of her seasons and amassed a two-year mark of 48-14.\
The New Castle, Pa., native played four years of collegiate basketball at Seton Hill. The squad posted a 45-16 record over the course of her last two seasons and advanced to the NCAA (DII) Tournament during her junior year. Micaletti was Seton Hill’s starting point guard in every game as a senior.
In addition to graduating from Seton Hill in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, she also attained a Master of Arts degree in curriculum and instruction (adult education and training specialization) from Point Park in 2016.
