Army-Navy Basketball Doubleheader Set For Saturday Sold Out

The Army-Navy Basketball doubleheader at Alumni Hall is sold out for the sixth straight year.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Saturday's Army-Navy Basketball Doubleheader at Alumni Hall (5,710) is sold out. The women's game tips off at 11:30 AM (ET), while the men's game will start at approximately 2:00 PM. The general public will be allowed entry into Alumni Hall beginning at 10:00 AM.

The sellout marks the sixth straight year the doubleheader has sold out and it's the 10th sellout in Alumni Hall history.

The CBS Sports Network will televise the men's game with Bob Socci and Chris Spatola on the call. Pete Medhurst and Michael Heary will call the men's game on the Navy Radio Network (1430 AM WNAV, 1500 WFED and SIRIUS and XM Satellite Radio).

The women's game will be streamed online as part of the Navy and Patriot League All-Access packages on, and the contest will be available on WNAV (1430 AM) Radio with Medhurst handling the call courtside.

Both of the contests will be the respective Star Games.

The men's team defeated Army, 59-50, in the first meeting at Christl Arena in West Point, while the women's squad dropped a 53-42 decision on Jan. 20.

Navy is 9-6-1 (8-4-1 in Star Games) against Army this year with victories coming from men's cross country, women's cross country, women's soccer, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, football, men's basketball, men's indoor track and field and women's indoor track and field.

Navy has won the overall competition against Army in 17 of the last 18 years.
