Navy will play host to Holy Cross Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall. The Crusaders have posted wins in each of their last three games, while the Mids have picked up five-consecutive victories.
Navy recorded a 60-47 win over the Crusaders when the teams met earlier this season. The Mids jumped out to early leads of 5-0, 15-4 and 24-9 on their way to the win.
Holy Cross holds a 17-6 advantage over Navy in games played between the teams in Annapolis, but the Mids have compiled a 3-2 record against the Crusaders in games played on The Yard over the last four seasons.
Navy All-Access subscribers can view a video stream of the game by logging in to their account at NavySports.com, as well as to those who downloaded the Navy smart phone / tablet app and subscribed to the video package. Local radio station WNAV-AM 1430 also will carry the game. Additionally, free live statistics from the game will be offered at NavySports.com and through the Navy smart phone / tablet app.
U.S. Naval Academy faculty and staff can receive 4 free tickets by showing their USNA ID card at the Alumni Hall ticket office on the day of the game.
All kids ages 12 and under can receive a free ticket to the game by presenting a school assignment with an “A” on it to the Alumni Hall box office.
Access to the U.S. Naval Academy is restricted to those vehicles with prior authorization. All other visitors to The Yard, including fans for sporting events, must park at nearby Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5. per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. The shuttle bus begins one hour prior to the start of the game and leaves from the Blue (west) parking lot of the stadium near the Blue Angel plane.
