The first of back-to-back home games for the Navy women’s basketball team will take place Saturday when the Midshipmen play host to Colgate in a 7 p.m. game in Alumni Hall. The Mids (9-2) posted a 59-43 victory over the Raiders (2-9) when the teams met earlier this season in Hamilton.
Navy enters the game following its 52-42 win over American on Wednesday, while Colgate has posted two wins over its last three games, including a 60-56 victory over Army earlier this week.
Navy All-Access subscribers can view a video stream of the game by logging-in to their account at NavySports.com. Local radio station WNAV-AM 1430 also will be carrying the game live starting with the Navy pre-Game Show at 6:45 p.m. Additionally, free live statistics from the game will be offered at NavySports.com.
Access to the U.S. Naval Academy is restricted to those vehicles with prior authorization. All other visitors to The Yard, including fans for sporting events, must park at nearby Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5. per vehicle) and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. The shuttle bus begins one hour prior to the start of the game and leaves from the Blue (west) parking lot of the stadium near the Blue Angel plane.
All fans wearing pink in support of breast cancer awareness can purchase tickets for $3 at the Alumni Hall Ticket Office the night of the game.
Also, all girls ages 17 and under will be admitted to the game for free. This is part of Navy’s support of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
