Navy Rowers Earn Postseason Accolades

Three members of the Navy women's crew team received postseason accolades from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, it was announced Wednesday.

Anne Gibbon (So., Tacoma, Wash.) and Sarah Woodman (Sr., Bellevue, Neb.) were named First Team All-Mid Atlantic Region by the CRCA, while Elisabeth Stauffer (So., London, Ohio) was named to the region's second team. With their first-team selections both Gibbon and Woodman will be eligible for the CRCA All-America Team, which will voted on after the NCAA Championship.

In addition, Woodman also was named to the region's scholar-athlete team.

This is the first time a Navy rower has been named to either CRCA team.
