Gennaro and Henshaw to Play in IWLCA Division I North-South Senior All-Star Game

The two Mids will wrap up their collegiate careers in the annual senior all-star game

2007 Season:
Had a sensational year, earning first-team USL / WDIA All-America and Midfielder of the Year accolades ... led the team with 128 points (71 g, 57 a), averaging 5.6 points per game ... was held to four or fewer points in a game just seven times in 2007 ... tallied career-best nine points twice. Did so against Villanova Club (7 g, 2 a) and Maryland Club (6 g, 3 a) ... scored at least six points 14 different times ... netted six goals and two assists against Michigan Club ... tallied seven points against UCF Club, Anne Arundel Community College, Villa Julie College and the Coast Guard Academy Club ... tallied 18 points (9 g, 9 a) in four games at the USL / WDIA National Tournament ... dished out career-high six assists against Army Club (May 6).

Prior to Navy:
Perhaps Navy's most decorated player, Towey lettered four times in lacrosse at Smithtown High School ... led team to the 2001 League I Championship ... earned Rookie of the Year (2001), All-League (2002) and was a member of the 2003 New York State National Team ... also won the 2004 Unsung Hero Award in both basketball and lacrosse ... lettered twice in basketball and volleyball ... led volleyball team to 2003 League I Championship and was the Suffolk County Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 ... full name is Amanda Jean Towey ... daughter of Andrew and Joan Towey ... born June 4, 1986, on Long Island ... majoring in systems engineering.
