Played in 11 games on the season … Recorded three points on three goals … Made collegiate debut in the season opener against Longwood … Scored a pair of goals for first collegiate points at No. 10 Duke … Added a goal against Army … Tallied five ground balls, including a season-high two ground balls at No. 10 Duke … Had seven draw controls with a season-best three against the Blue Devils … Caused three turnovers with a season-high two at Liberty.

High School / Personal: A 2016 Ardrey Kell High School graduate, lettering for four years in lacrosse … Two-time US Lacrosse All-American (2015, 2016) … Named an All-Conference honoree three times (2013, 2015, 2016) … Garnered Co-Conference Player of the Year accolades in 2014 … Member of National Honor Society … Daughter of Alexander and Doreen Heyward … Brother, Alex, and grandfather, Shannon, both played lacrosse at the Academy … Alex competed from 2012-15, while Shannon was a member from 1954-57 … Along with Alex (’15) and Shannon (’57), father, Alexander ('84), uncle, Alfred ('84), and great grandfather, Alexander S. Jr. ('30) all attended and graduated from the Academy.
