Women's Lacrosse to Hold Fall Skill Enhancement Clinic Sept. 6

Annual clinic to be held at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Josh Dionne enters his first season as an assistant coach for the 2015 season at Navy.

Dionne will focus on Navy's offensive attack and will have an active role in recruiting.

Dionne is a two-time USILA Division I All-American and was a part of Duke's back-to-back run as NCAA national champions (2013-14). A four-year letterwinner at attack for the Blue Devils, he accrued 162 points on 140 goals and 22 assists in 78 games. Dionne was recently selected 18th overall in the 2014 Major League Lacrosse draft by the Charlotte Hounds.

Dionne spent the summer of 2011 mentoring and coaching 14 to 16 year old players as the New England Select head lacrosse coach. He helped players gain knowledge of the game, improve their lacrosse skills and instill a good team philosophy. Dionne will be the Mids' second assistant and will guide the offense.

Dionne graduated from Duke in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in arts of history.
