ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy women's lacrosse junior midfielder Jenna Collins (Clarksville, Md.) and freshman attacker Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) have been selected to the Inside Lacrosse Media All-America Team as announced by Inside Lacrosse. Collins was named to the second team, while Larkin earned honorable mention accolades.

Voting for the inaugural Inside Lacrosse Women's Media Women's All-American teams was done by members of the lacrosse media who vote in the weekly Cascade Division I Media Poll, released by Inside Lacrosse. They released the inaugural men's team earlier this week.

Each team represents a field's lineup and consists of four attackers, three midfielders, four defenders and a goalie. Each team also boasts a draw specialist.

Collins, a two-time Patriot League Midfielder of the Year, has 106 points (68 goals, 38 assists) on the year to go with 71 draw controls, 37 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers, helping Navy make its deepest NCAA Tournament run in program history. She was also named the PL Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after tying Lehigh's Allison LaBeau and former Navy star Jasmine DePompeo (2010-13) with a tournament-record 13 points. Collins most recently had two goals and six assists to help the Mids defeat UMass to advance to become just the second Patriot League team to advance to the quarterfinals.

Larkin, the Patriot League Rookie of the Year, earns honorable mention, tallying a Navy freshman record of 96 points (44 goals, 52 assists). She finished the regular season with a conference-record seven PL Rookie of the Week honors. Larkin played and started all 21 games as a freshman, recording points in every game with multiple points in 19 games. Larkin scored goals in 18 games, including multiple goals in 12 games. The Alexandria, Va. native leads the team in assists and has helpers in 20 of 21 games, including at least one helper in 14 consecutive games (current streak) and multiple assists in 12 games.

Navy (17-4) will face No. 2 seed North Carolina (17-2) at Fetzer Field in Chapel, Hill, N.C. on Saturday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
