ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy senior women's lacrosse players Jasmine DePompeo (Sayville, N.Y.) and Brijet Mall (Cumming, Ga.) have been selected to play in the IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game, the coaches association recently announced. The game will be played at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. on Sunday, May 26 at 11:30 AM.

DePompeo, who was named to the IWLCA All-America Third Team this season, will also be attending the IWLCA All-America banquet in King of Prussia, Pa. on Saturday evening.

This marks the first time that Navy has earned two selections for the senior all-star game in one year. Former players Kierstin King (2012), Caitlin Mandrin Hill (2011) and Amanda Towey (2008) have competed in the IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game in recent years.

DePompeo and Mall will both graduate from the Naval Academy on Friday. The seniors were a part of an eight-member class that won four Patriot League titles and made four NCAA Tournament appearances. The Class of 2013 graduates with a career record of 69-15, the best four-year record in program history.

In addition to being named an IWLCA All-American, DePompeo was named to the All-South Region First Team in 2013. She earned a third-straight Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year accolade and was named to the All-Patriot League First Team for the third year in a row. She also earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for the third straight year.

DePompeo currently leads the NCAA in total points (127) and assists (71) and finished her career with 336 points on 169 goals and 167 assists.

Mall was named to the All-Patriot League First Team in 2013 and was one of Navy's top defenders. Mall helped Navy rank third in the country in scoring defense and the team held 15 opponents to single-digit goals.

Mall tallied 18 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and six draw controls. She even scored her first career goal in Navy's 14-4 win over Holy Cross in the Patriot League Tournament final.

Navy was 19-2 in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA Second Round.
