ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy women's lacrosse team hosts the annual Navy Fall Invitational this weekend in Annapolis, Md. The 14-team tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14-15. The majority of the action will take place at the Naval Academy with games at Rip Miller Field and Farragut Fields. Aside from games on the Yard, the Midshipmen will play a pair of games on Sunday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Navy welcomes Arizona State, Boston University, Coastal Carolina, Drexel, George Washington, James Madison, Louisville, Ohio State, Penn State, San Diego State, St. Joe's, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech to Annapolis for the 2017 Navy Fall Invitational.

Navy will play three games on Saturday, all at Rip Miller Field. The Mids will take on Vanderbilt at 12:00 p.m., Ohio State at 3:00 p.m., and Arizona State at 4:00 p.m.

Sunday's fall ball exhibition for the Mids will begin with a game at Rip Miller Field against Coastal Carolina at 10:00 a.m. before heading to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for their final two games. Navy will play against Penn State at 1:00 p.m. and then against James Madison at 2:00 p.m. to conclude the day.

The games will consist of two 20-minute halves with a running clock. There will be a five-minute halftime for each game and there will be 15 minutes in between games.

PARENT AND FAN PARKING OPTIONS
Games on the Yard
Parents and fans may choose to park in downtown Annapolis and walk onto the Yard through the pedestrian entrance at Gate 1. Most residential parking is restricted to two (2) hours. Parking garages are available throughout town and the Annapolis Circulator Trolley connects all parking garages to a stop at the City Dock (close to Gate 1). Parking downtown will be limited due to this weekend's Boat Show.

Parents and fans may also park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (NMCS) by entering through Gate 5 and then take the shuttle to the Yard. Parking is $10 (CASH ONLY), but the shuttle is FREE. The bus service will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. The last bus of the day will depart the Naval Academy ONE HOUR after the last game each day. Buses will pick up at NMCS at the LAX designated parking area inside Gate 5. There will be two drop-off points on the Yard -- one at Field 3 (Rip Miller Field) and one at Fields 1 & 2 (Farragut).

There will be security screening at the stadium for anyone boarding the shuttle buses. IDs will be checked along with bags and coolers. Additionally, guests may be wanded.

Parking for parents and fans is inside Gate 5 of the stadium. Parking is $10 per car CASH ONLY. Enter the stadium through gate A/B.

Directions to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
From Taylor Ave., turn into the parking lot at Gate 5 and follow signs for EVENT and LAX parking. Boat Show parking will also be at the stadium, fans are reminded to follow signs specifically for LAX and enter through our designated gate: Gate 5.
