Women's Rowing Places 18 on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

The Navy women's rowing team had 18 student-athletes named to the sport's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced on Thursday (June 27). It marks the second consecutive year the Mids have had 18 student-athletes named to the honor roll.
To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Navy led the conference with eight student-athletes posting perfect 4.0 GPAs during the spring semester. Heather Bui, Christen Carpenter, Rebecca Greenberg, Kathleen Heinbach, Bridget Lee, Megan Musilli, Marina Nanartowich and Lily Van Steenberg all recorded 4.0 GPAs this spring.
Recently graduated seniors Nanartowich, Michaela Bilotta, Hannah Dildine, Jacqueline Fisher and Jacqueline Penichet all earned their fourth Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recognition. Penichet was voted the sport's Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year in May. Fellow Class of 2013 member Kerri Bortz earned her third honor roll selection.
In total, 113 student-athletes were named to this year's Patriot League Rowing Academic Honor Roll.
