2006 -- A starter on defense in every game her freshman season, including her first-collegiate contest 8/25 vs. Davidson ... played an instrumental role in Navy giving up just nine goals on the year, five during the regular season ... helped lead the Mids to 19 shutouts in 24 contests, the top shutout percentage (0.79) in the nation ... Navy's 0.37 goals-against average was the second-lowest in the country and the lowest in program history ... scored her first-collegiate goal in the Mids' 5-0 victory over Jacksonville in her home state of Florida ... Navy's first player to earn national recognition since Rebecca Gould earned Soccer America kudos in 2000 ... turned in her first-collegiate assist in the Mids' win over Butler ... provided an assist on Meggie Curran's game-tying goal against Columbia ... fed Kari Weniger for the game-winning goal against Albany ... produced assists in wins over Lehigh and Lafayette.

High School/Club -- A 2006 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida ... lettered four years in soccer and garnered all-county recognition as a senior ... served three years as the captain of her prep soccer team ... led St. Thomas Aquinas to the 2004 and `05 Florida Class 5A State Championship crown ... in 2004, her high school turned in a 31-0-0 record ... attended the same high school and played along side current Navy teammate Katie Traster ... member of the Florida Renegades club soccer team that claimed the Florida state championship, as well as the Southern Region U16 Championship.

Personal -- Full name is Lauren Noelle Bresnahan ... daughter of Kenneth and Leana Bresnahan ... father was a multiple letterwinner in sprint football at Army and a Class of `78 graduate ... grandfather, Major General Richard A. Bresnahan (Ret.) was a Class of `46 graduate of Army and played alongside Army football greats Doc Blanchard and Glen Davis on the 1944, `45 and `46 National Championship teams ... attended the same high school as Navy soccer teammate, senior Katie Traster ... enters her second year at the Academy with a 3.88 GPA in ocean engineering ... earned a spot on the Superintendent's and Commandant's Lists last fall and the Dean's List in the spring ... stands 61st in academic order of merit and 43rd in military order of merit among her class of 1165 ... born Dec. 10, 1987, in Ft. Ord, Calif.
