Navy competed a fourth straight 2-0 weekend by knocking off James Madison, 3-2, and VMI, 5-0. Sophomore forward Morgan Dankanich (Glenmoore, Pa.) also scored against James Madison with her sixth goal of the year.

Five different players scored in Navy's shutout win over VMI, including junior forward Ashlynn Soellner (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) with her sixth goal of the season.

Soellner and junior forward Paloma Perez (Mobile, Ala.) share the team lead of 14 points. Soellner has six goals and two assists and Perez has four goals and six assists. Dankanich is third on the team with 13 points (6 goals, 1 assists).

Weekly Honors for Rullan and Davidson
Navy plebes Lizzy Rullan and Kaylie Davidson both received weekly honors after helping Navy to a 2-0 mark last weekend. Rullan was named the ECAC Women's Soccer Division I Defensive Player of the Week and the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. Davidson was tabbed as the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

Rullan became the third different Midshipmen (Jade Seabrook and Julie Schumacher) to earn Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors this season.

Rullan scored the game-winning goal in Navy's 3-2 win over James Madison and played 90 minutes against VMI as a central defender to help Navy post its third shutout.

Davidson scored a goal in the win over VMI and added an assist against James Madison. Davidson is fourth on the team in scoring with nine points (3 goals, 3 assists).

Scouting Boise State
Boise State enters the weekend with a 4-5-1 mark. The Broncos defeated Nebraska-Omaha, 2-0, last weekend and tied Utah, 1-1. Boise State opened the season with back-to-back wins, but dropped five of its next six games.
