Former Naval Academy Athletes to Appear on ESPN2's First Take Monday

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Four former Navy athletes will appear on ESPN2's First Take on Monday, November 8. The show will be aired live from the USS George H.W. Bush in Norfolk, Va. at 10:00 am.

The episode is part of ESPN's America's Heroes: A Salute to Our Veterans. The weeklong salute will feature a variety of military-themed programming leading up to Veterans Day on November 11.

The former athletes who will appear on the show are Lt. j.g. Meggie Curran, Lt. j.g. Carmen Myers, Lt. j.g. Trey Hines and Lt. Adam Lane. All four officers are 2007 graduates of the United States Naval Academy and are currently stationed on the USS George H.W. Bush.

Their first task on the show will be to judge the debate on the popular "1st and 10" segment. The group will also appear repeatedly throughout the two-hour show.

Myers and Curran were four-year members of the women's soccer team. Hines was a four-year slot back on the football team and Lane was a two-year member of the men's basketball program.
