ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy will send a trio of athletes to compete at this week's NCAA Zone 'A' Diving Championship, which is being held Friday through Sunday on the Rutgers campus in Piscataway, N.J.

Competing for Navy at the meet will be 2007 Patriot League Men's and Women's Divers of the Meet Kevin Teague (Sr., Lexington, Ky.) and Katie Griffin (Jr., Ellicott City, Md.), respectively, along with Jon Galinski (So., Phoenix, Md.) who reached the finals on both boards at the recent Patriot League and Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League championship meets.

The zone meet brings together the top divers from schools located throughout the Northeast Region. Four women and four men will qualify from the Zone 'A' championship for the NCAA Championship. Both national championship meets will be held in Minneapolis, Minn., with the women's meet slated to be held March 8-10 and the men's meet to follow March 15-17.

Teague has twice gone on to compete at the NCAA Championship, most recently last year. Griffin and Galinski, meanwhile, are attempting to qualify for their initial national championship.
