FALL 2009
• Posted a 2-3 singles record and a 1-3 doubles record during the fall semester.
• Won both of her matches at the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational in Annapolis in late September, defeating Danielle White of Rider and Towson's Jaclyn Tamburo.
• Teamed with Carissa Guthrie to defeat a Rider duo for her only doubles win.

A 2008 graduate of Newberry High School, Carlson lettered five times in tennis, spending most of the time at No. 1 singles and doubles ... was a two-time all-state selection and was named to the North-South Tennis Team and the High School Report's all-state tennis team ... was a three-time honoree as the Class 2A Region III Player of the Year ... served as the team captain and was team MVP three times ... was honored as Channel 19's Player of the Year ... also lettered in swimming (5 times), basketball (4 times) and soccer (3 times) ... helped swimming team to four Class 2A Region III championships, as well as a SCISA State Championship ... helped basketball team to two Region III titles ... was her class' valedictorian and served as the Newberry High School JROTC Battalion Commander ... was student body president as a senior and was a member of the National Honor Society ... was a South Carolina Palmetto Girls State Delegate ... member of the National Beta Club.

Rebecca Renwick Carlson ... daughter of David and Catherine Carlson ... born Oct. 12, 1989, in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. ... cousin, Calhoun Parr, played tennis at Clemson.
