2011-12 - Sophomore: Sears had another strong season, earning first-team all-Patriot League accolades after playing No. 1 singles all spring ... Sears finished with a 16-16 overall record, but went 12-8 during the spring ... also went 12-10 in doubles play, including a 10-5 record in dual-meet action ... started the spring season 5-1, then ended the year by winning four of her last six matches ... went 3-3 in three-set decisions ... posted a 3-1 mark during the regular season against Patriot League opposition ... reached the semifinals of the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational and in her flight at the Hampton Roads Collegiate Invitational ... paired with Dye Das late in the year during doubles play to record a 7-3 mark at No. 3 doubles ... won six straight doubles matches from March 13 to April 11, including all four against Patriot League foes.
2010-11 - Freshman: Had a sensational freshman campaign, tying classmate Erin Snook for the school record with 24 singles victories ... went 24-9 in singles play and 12-15 in doubles play ... her 36 combined victories were the fourth most in school history ... went 16-6 in dual-meet singles action, mostly at No. 4 singles (14-6) ... ended the season winning her last six matches, including a 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory over Bucknell's Courtney Casey in the Patriot League Tourmament semifinals, where she trailed 5-2 in the second set ... went 5-0 against Patriot League competition in singles play (tournament included) ... opened the spring season by winning six of her first eight matches ... had a five-match winning streak during the fall, losing in the finals of the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational in a three-set decision to Howard's Katelyn Stokes ... won both of her matches at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational to conclude an 8-3 fall season ... partnered mostly with Brittney Boucher to record a 12-15 doubles record ... went 6-9 in dual-meet action and 6-4 during the fall.
