ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy women's tennis team showcased its depth again on Sunday as it picked up two more wins, defeating George Mason, 7-0, and Morgan State, 4-3.

The wins move Navy's overall record to 5-3 and completed a three-match sweep this weekend after the Mids defeated Villanova, 5-2, on Saturday.

The Mids dominated George Mason in the day's first match, cruising past the Patriots, 7-0. Navy won all three doubles matches, then took all six singles matches in straight sets.

Logan Antill (Fr. / Butler, Pa.) and Darien Sears (Jr. / Silver Spring, Md.) and Mikaela Carlson (Fr. / Carmel, Ind.) and Tracy Thorsell (Fr. / Martinsville, Ind.) won at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles by identical 8-4 scores, respectively. Katie Porter (Fr. / Matthews, N.C.) and Stefanie Ton (Sr. / Milpitas, Calif.) won at No. 3 doubles by an 8-6 score.

Navy then won all six singles matches, not allowing its opponent to win more than seven games in any single match. Emani Decquir (Sr. / Sacramento, Calif.) won at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-4. Erin Snook (Jr. / Tampa, Fla.) was victorious at No. 2, 6-3, 6-2. Sears won her second match of the day with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 singles.

Antill moved into 10th place on the single-season victories list with her 16th victory in a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles. Ton and Droop closed out the sweep at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively.

Navy then defeated Morgan State, 4-3, to compete Sunday's action.

Navy lost the doubles point after losing 9-7 at both No. 1 and 2 doubles. No. 3 doubles was not contested as Morgan State had just five players competing.

Navy clinched the match with victories at Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 by Porter, Carlson and Vivian Chau (Fr. / Rowland Heights, Calif.). Navy then won the match with a forfeit at No. 6 singles, giving the Midshipmen the dual-meet victory.
