Navy will be facing George Washington for the seventh time in series history on Friday. The Colonials defeated Navy last season, 5-2, and GW holds a 5-1 lead in the all-time series against the Mids. Navy’s lone win in the series came in 2014 (4-3).

George Washington has defeated Harvard (4-3) and Delaware (5-2) in its two dual matches this spring.

Navy and Mount St. Mary’s will be meeting for the third time on Saturday. Navy leads the all-time series against the Mountaineers, 2-0. Navy defeated the Mount last year, 6-1. Navy also defeated Mount St. Mary’s in 2011, 6-1.

Mount St. Mary’s has lost to Towson (7-0) and George Mason (5-2) in its two dual matches this spring.

The match on Sunday will be the Patriot League opener for both Navy and Boston U. Navy will be opening its ninth season of Patriot League play. The Mids have an all-time Patriot League regular season record of 30-7 (.811) under head coach Keith Puryear.

Boston U. enters the weekend at 1-3. The Terriers have defeated Liberty (5-2), but have fallen to Dartmouth (5-2), Boston College (6-1) and Yale (5-2). Boston will play at Harvard on Saturday before facing the Mids on Sunday.
