ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy women's tennis team looks to continue its winning streak this weekend when it hosts a pair of matches on Saturday at the Tose Family Tennis Center at the Brigade Sports Complex.

Navy, 5-3 overall, hosts Longwood (0-2) at 9:00 AM before concluding the day against Coppin State (0-0), which will be competing in its first spring competition, at noon.

The Midshipmen enter the weekend having won three straight matches, defeating Villanova (5-2), George Mason (7-0) and Morgan State (4-3) last weekend. Freshmen Logan Antill (Butler, Pa.) and Mikaela Carlson (Carmel, Ind.) and junior Darien Sears (Silver Spring, Md.) led the Midshipmen with three wins apiece, each of them posting a 3-0 combined record last weekend.

Antill leads the Midshipmen with four dual-meet wins and 16 wins overall, already tied for the 10th most in a season in school history. Emani Decquir (Sr. / Sacramento, Calif.), Sam Droop (Fr. / Hilton Head Island, S.C.), Sears, Erin Snook (Jr. / Tampa, Fla.) and Stefanie Ton (Sr. / Milpitas, Calif.) have all recorded three dual-meet victories. Snook (12), Decquir (11) and Droop (10) join Antill as double-digit winners overall this year.

The Midshipmen own a 13-11 doubles mark during the dual-meet season with Antill and Sears combining for a 4-2 record. No other tandem has won more than two dual-meet matches this spring.

Both Ton and Snook need just one victory for 100 in their careers (combined singles and doubles). Snook has 59 singles victories and 40 doubles wins, while Ton has recorded 53 singles wins and 46 doubles victories.

Navy leads the all-time series with Longwood, 2-0, but the matches have been competitive. The Mids defeated the Lancers in 2011, 4-2, and then by a 4-3 margin in 2012.

Navy is 3-0 against Coppin State all-time and has yet to lose a match to the Eagles.

The Midshipmen will return to action next weekend when it hosts Manhattan (10:00 AM, Saturday), Richmond (3:00 PM, Saturday) and James Madison (Noon, Sunday) at the Brigade Sports Complex.
