ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women’s tennis team (7-4, 0-1 PL) will host George Mason (2-4) and Howard (1-4) in a doubleheader on Sunday at the Tose Family Tennis Center inside the Brigade Sports Complex. The Mids will host the Patriots at 10:00 AM and the Bison at 2:00 PM.

Navy has won its last three matches by a combined team score of 19-2. The Mids have defeated Villanova, 5-2, Towson, 7-0, and Johns Hopkins, 7-0, in their last three contests.

Senior Carlee Conway leads the team in singles wins this season with her 13-6 record, while senior Amanda Keller, sophomore Emily Louie-Meadors and freshman Amanda Cyr each have 12 singles wins.

Keller is one doubles win away from becoming Navy’s all-time leader in career doubles victories. The team captain is currently tied with 2014 graduate Erin Snook with 61 career doubles wins. Keller’s career record is 61-29 and she is 14-4 this season with doubles partner Kaylah Hodge.

Keller and Hodge lead the team in doubles wins this season, while senior Claudia Mackenzie and Louie-Meadors are second with their 12-3 record.

George Mason is currently 2-4 this season. The Patriots have wins over Mount St. Mary’s and Mary Washington. George Mason most recently fell to No. 23 Virginia on Tuesday, 4-0.

George Mason will face Radford on Friday evening before playing at Navy on Sunday.

Navy is 7-0 all-time against George Mason and the two schools have met every year since 2011. Navy posted a 7-0 win over the Patriots last season.

Howard is currently 1-4 on the season and most recently fell to VCU on Thursday, 7-0. Howard’s lone win this season was a 4-3 decision over Mount St. Mary’s on Feb. 9.

Howard’s No. 1 singles player, Nathalie Finch, received both the MEAC Player and Rookie of the Week awards on Feb. 14. Additionally, Nicole Hutchison was named the MEAC Player of the Week and Yassmine Khiri was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 7.
