ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's tennis team (11-3) will host Towson (5-1) on Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Tose Family Tennis Center at the Brigade Sports Complex. Navy leads the all-time series against Towson, 3-0.

Navy defeated Towson, 6-1, in each of the first three meetings in the series. Navy was victorious in 2010, 2012 and 2013.

Towson has earned wins this season over Mount St. Mary's, George Mason, Lehigh, UMES and Salisbury. Towson's only loss was a 5-2 setback to Montana.

Navy had a three-match winning streak snapped by No. 45 DePaul on Saturday in a 7-0 defeat. Navy will look to begin another winning streak as it hosts Towson on Sunday and Delaware on Tuesday before its four-match spring break trip in Orlando, Fla. (March 11-12).

Navy senior Erin Snook is 5-4 at No. 1 singles and senior Darien Sears is 4-3 at No. 2 singles this spring. Both Snook and Sears earned All-Patriot League honors in each of the last two seasons.

Sophomore Sam Droop is 5-2 at No. 3 singles. Sophomore Logan Antill has been playing at No. 4 singles, while Navy's lineup of late has seen junior Gabby Winter at No. 5 singles and junior Noelle Kaufmann at No. 6.

Of the 12 doubles pairings Navy has used in dual play, Kaufmann and sophomore Mikaela Carlson have played together the most and are 3-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Navy will next host Delaware on Tuesday at 2:30 PM.
