"Mia has put a lot of hard work into the hammer and weight throws. An injury set her back a bit during the outdoor campaign, but she's come back healthy and determined to contend for a top-three spot at the league meet."

2007-08: Turned in a solid sophomore season with 11 top-eight performances while competing in the weight, hammer and javelin throws ... finished eighth in the hammer at the league championship thanks to a career-best throw of 157' (47.86m) ... finished 12th in the weight throw at the indoor league meet ... took fourth in that event at the indoor Star Meet competition with a career-best toss of 47'1-3/4" against Army ... went on to take third in the hammer against Army during the spring season.

2006-07: Competed in the shot put, 35 lb. weight throw, discus, hammer and javelin as a freshman ... finished 11th in the hammer at the outdoor league championship with a season-best toss of 137'-2" (41.81m) ... mark made her the second-best Navy performer in the event on the season ... turned in 10 top-10 performances on the season.
