Women's Track Competes At ECAC Indoor Championships

BOSTON - The Navy women's indoor track and field team wrapped up its participation in the ECAC Indoor Championship at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center
"All together we had a pretty decent day and Teronda [Brown] and Maress [Guynn] competed well for us overall," said head coach Carla Criste.
Senior Teronda Brown finished 15th in the weight throw with a mark of 52ft-4.0in (15.95m). On Saturday, Brown placed 16th in the shot put, recording a throw of 42ft-3.25in (12.88m). Teammate Maressa Guynn competed in the weight throw as well, placing 22nd with a mark of 49ft-6.25in (15.09m).
Connecticut led all teams with 75 points, while Cornell (64 points), Liberty (44 points), Rutgers (40.50 points) and Georgetown (33 points) rounded out the top five. Bucknell paced all Patriot League schools with an 18th place finish of 17 points.
