Last Time at Navy Lid Lifter (Dec. 1, 2016):
Navy distance runner Mary Cate Scully shined with a personal-best and ECAC-qualifying time in the 5,000m run as the Navy women's track and field team went 7-0 at the Navy Lid Lifter at the Wesley A. Brown Field House. The Fairfax Station, Virginia, native shaved off a full 11 seconds off her previous best mark to place first in the event.

Kearns and Brinegar recorded ECAC-qualifying pole vault marks in the first field event. Kearns and Brinegar both crossed over the 11ft-11.75in (3.65m) mark, but Kearns was able to leap over the pole in her first try to garner first-place. Brinegar improved her freshman mark by a full 10 inches.

Along with the three ECAC qualifying marks, which included two first-place finishes, Navy tallied three more first-place performances, two on the track and one in the field.
