Megan Vehovic

Recent Naval Academy graduate Megan Vehovic will serve as the program's volunteer assistant coach during the 2006 season.

Vehovic, who holds the rank of Ensign, earned a trio of letters as a four-year member of the volleyball team. During her final season she ranked third on the team in digs per game (2.38 dpg) and fourth in total digs (228). Her rankings improved during the Patriot League season to second in both total digs (153) and digs per game (2.78 dpg).

Vehovic appeared in over 300 matches during her career, while tallying 539 digs (1.80 dpg) and 54 service aces (.178 sapg).

Vehovic made her first appearance as a member of the All-Navy Team last spring, helping the service to a second-place showing against the other branches of the military.

An international relations major during her days as a midshipman, Vehovic service selected Navy surface warfare and will report to the USS Tarawa in December.
