ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's cross country team was one of 205 Division I programs to garner USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team accolades, it was announced Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

As a team, the Midshipmen compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.16 as they garnered the honor for the second consecutive season. Navy joined Army, Colgate, Lafayette and Lehigh as the other Patriot League institutions on this year's list.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.

Earlier this year, the Mids placed a program-best 15 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
