Princeton (No. 15) and West Virginia (No. 21) are also ranked in the current national poll.
Navy's Last Appearance at the Harry Groves Invitational
The Mids took fifth at the 2010 Harry Groves Invite, paced by Jess Palacio's sixth-place finish. Perennial regional powers Georgetown, Princeton, Penn State and LaSalle took the top four spots, respectively.
The Last Time Out: The Harry Lang Invitational
Sophomore Annie-Norah Beveridge led Navy at the season-opening Harry Lang Invitational last weekend in Hamilton, N.Y., by taking first place overall. As a team, Navy took third, finishing behind No. 9 Syracuse and Bucknell, respectively. Christina Blair took sixth and freshman Autumn Greba placed 11th.
Beveridge Nabs Patriot League Honor
In garnering medalist honors at last weekend's Harry Lang Invitational, Annie-Norah Beveridge was named the M-F Athletic Patriot League Runner of the Week on Tuesday. Beveridge, a native of Ann Arbor, Mich., won the race by 11 seconds and her time of 15:51 was the second-fastest time ever recorded on the Colgate women's cross country course.
Navy will host its first of two meets this season when it welcomes multiple schools to Annapolis for the Salty Dog Invitational on Sept. 15.
