Beveridge Earns Second Straight ECAC Laurel

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy sophomore Annie-Norah Beveridge has been named the ECAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. It's the second consecutive week Beveridge has garnered the award.
Beveridge earned the honor after placing 15th out of a field of 360 runners at the 38th-annual Paul Short Run last weekend in Bethlehem, Pa. She finished the 6k course in 20:25, helping Navy to a 10th-place finish. The 40-team field at the Paul Short Run included three teams ranked in the top-10 national poll, as well as 20 schools that are ranked in the top-15 in their respective USTFCCCA regional polls.
Beveridge, a native of Ann Arbor, Mich., was earlier was named Patriot League Runner of the Week for the fourth time this season.
The Mids are off this weekend but will return to the course on Oct. 13 when they host Army in the annual Star Meet.
