Vermont Post Game Notes

• This is Vermont's second trip to the Frozen Four (1996, L in semifinal). The Catamounts are 3-5 in all rounds of the NCAA Tournament (four appearances).

• Vermont entered the Frozen Four 0-of-8 on the power play during the NCAA Tournament. The Catamounts were 2-of-7 on the power play tonight.

• Vermont entered the Frozen Four successfully killing all 11 penalties during the NCAA Tournament. The Catamounts were 2-of-3 in penalty kills tonight.

• Wahsontito Stacey's second-period goal ended a personal nine-game goalless streak. His last goal was Feb. 20 vs. Mass.-Lowell.

• Josh Burrows (1-1=2) scored a goal in the second consecutive game and recorded his second multi-point outing over the last nine games. He has recored multiple points three times this season.

• Justin Milo (1-1=2) has scored a goal in two of the last four games and recorded at least one point in seven of the last nine games. Five of his 12 goals have come on the power play, including tonight's PP goal. He has produced four multi-point games this season.

• Drew MacKenzie (1-1=2) has recorded at least one assist in four of the last seven games. His third-period goal was his first of the season. He previously recorded two points in a game March 19 vs. Mass.-Lowell.

• Vermont entered the game unbeaten in 50 of its last 51 games when scoring four or more goals in a game.

• Vermont's Dean Strong was held without a point. The Catamounts are now 24-42-9 in games in which he was held scoreless (51-15-4 when he records a point).

• Dean Strong won 8-of-21 faceoffs tonight. He had won at least 50 percent of his faceoffs in 23 straight games.
