Chris Forman

Chris Forman is in his ninth year as an assistant sports information director at Navy. He serves as the men's basketball, men's soccer, water polo, rifle, women's tennis and sailing contact at Navy.

Forman came to Navy from the University of Massachusetts, where he was an assistant media relations director for two years. While at UMass, Forman worked for the Minutemen hockey, men's lacrosse and men's soccer teams.

Prior to his time at UMass, Forman was a sports information graduate assistant at St. Cloud State University (Minn.), where he served as the men's basketball, women's hockey and baseball contact. He served as the media coordinator of the 2001 NCAA Division II North Central Regional men's basketball tournament.

Forman graduated in 1998 from Central College (Iowa) with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science / health promotion. While at Central, he was a three-year letterwinner on the Dutch basketball team. Following his graduation from Central College, Forman was the Sports Editor at the Atlantic News-Telegraph in Atlantic, Iowa.

Forman and his wife, Elle, reside in Annapolis, and are the parents of a daughter, Ashlyn (3) and a newborn son, Tyler (born April 24, 2012).
