Justin Kischefsky is in his 15th year at Navy, where he serves as Assistant Sports Information Director. He is the primary media contact for the women's basketball, swimming & diving, men's tennis and volleyball programs.

He was selected as the 2008-09 Swimming World Magazine Co-Sports Information Director of the Year and has received Honorable Mention laurels from the publication a total of five times, with his most recent accolade coming during the 2011-12 academic year.

Before coming to Navy in the fall of 1999, Kischefsky fulfilled the role of Assistant Sports Information Director at Long Beach State for five years from 1993-96 and 1997-99. He had also spent one year (1996-97) with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League as Assistant Media Relations Coordinator.

A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Kischefsky earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Marquette University in 1991 and attained a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University in 2011. He currently resides in Annapolis.
